The name Fika comes from Sweden's coffee-break ritual: a deliberate pause that makes the day work better.
From a name to an operating principle
Fika was founded in Istanbul in 2013 with a clear purpose: reduce the avoidable workload created by fragmented processes, repeated data entry and systems that do not reflect how a company works.
The company moved to a limited-company structure in 2019. Across public- and private-sector work in Türkiye and international engagements including the United States and the United Kingdom, the focus has remained the same: understand the operation first, then engineer the responsible system around it.
